Tuxera NTFS and exFAT Power Kingston MobileLite Wireless Bring Ultimate Interoperability and Fail-Safety to Wi-Fi Storages
HELSINKI, Finland and FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California, July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Tuxera Inc., market leader in the interoperable file system technologies announced today a partnership with Kingston Digital, Inc. to accelerate Kingston's entry into the highly contested mobile device market. MobileLite Wireless is the first Kingston product to use Tuxera file system solutions for enhanced performance, reliability and interoperability.
According to a Deloitte study almost 30% of new mobile device buyers in the US navigate digital content across multiple devices. At the same time, many mobile devices lack microSD slot, and almost none support USB flash drives or SD card. Kingston's new MobileLite Wireless is an innovate media hub targeted for Apple iPhone, iPad and Android smartphone and tablet users allowing them to use any external USB and SD storage with breeze. Since the device depends fully on external storage, integrated Tuxera NTFS and exFAT handles unsafe unplug and power off situations and increase the overall performance.
Launched in April 2013, MobileLite triggered a stream of positive reviews in the media. The device has been thanked for its design, performance, hassle-free storage expansion and effortless media swapping. More unique features include emergency mobile charging, streaming to three different devices at the same time, and the ability to use the Internet and the device simultaneously.
"Kingston packs its latest mobile media hub with innovation and intelligence. Tuxera file system solutions ensure the product supports all kind of USB drives and SD memory cards out of the box including SD, SDHC, SDXC, microSD, and microSDXC standards. Consumers can seamlessly stream, even to three devices at the same time, and playback all digital media," noted Szabolcs Szakacsits, Tuxera President and CTO.
