TVS SCS Secures Integrated Logistics Consultancy Contract

TVS Supply Chain Solutions is proud to announce that it shall be providing Integrated Logistics consultancy support through team Equinox to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) for the recently awarded Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Programme Delivery Partner (PDP) contract.

The PDP contract has been awarded to team Equinox, which comprises Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. and Turner & Townsend as the lead contractors, with TVS as a key subcontractor.
The scope of the contract includes the provision of consultancy Project Management, Project Control and Integrated Logistics (iLog). TVS Supply Chain Solutions will provide expertise specifically in support of iLog elements of DE&S Projects.
The two-year contract, with options to extend for an additional two years, will see TVS providing functional support services in relation to Integrated Logistics Services spanning Service Delivery Management, Supply Chain Management, Technical Through Life Support and Modelling & Analysis.
DE&S is responsible for the management of all MOD equipment and support-related procurement activity. This includes the procurement of new military equipment, commodities and services, support to in-service equipment through-life and management of global logistics operations.
TVS will provide specialist iLog resource into the DE&S' matrix operating model which comprises a blend of civil servants, military personnel and Programme Delivery Partner resources. DE&S will benefit from the expertise of TVS' global Supply Chain Management and Logistics professionals who will bring industry best practice, proven commercial solutions and who will support DE&S to identify emerging technologies and innovations which can further improve DE&S' performance, increase efficiency, and deliver cost savings.
