Tyrese Gibson Postpones Open Invitation Tour Dates to Fall 2012 in Order to Give Fans the Ultimate Music Experience
NEW YORK, April 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
-- Tyrese Gibson Forced to reschedule U.K. and European Tour Dates Due to Scheduling Conflicts
With the release of Open Invitation, Tyrese's fifth Studio album in five years, Gibson has taken a leap of faith and bet on the right horse, himself. Which afforded Open Invitation to debut on Billboard Magazine's Top 200, #2 Overall Rap and R&B sales and #1 Independent sales and has spawned a #1 single for eleven consecutive weeks. "They counted me out musically. I folded and turned my back on the music and focused on movies," says Tyrese. "God whispered in my ear 'Try one more time.' Thank God music never turned its back on me while I was away fighting alien robots in Transformers, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and Fast Five."
In support of the magnanimous release of Open Invitation, Tyrese has delivered his brand of soul to sold out audiences throughout the United States. However, additional dates, along with many others have been cut short due to scheduling conflicts with multiple projects. These dates include stops in North and South America, France, Holland and the United Kingdom. "I am forever grateful to my fans and supporters in the US, as well as overseas, and because of a new film commitment I am happy to reschedule these shows rather than cancel them. I look forward to seeing y'all in the fall."
Nonetheless the European dates which were originally slated April 7th through April 12th with additional dates to be added will be fulfilled this fall after production is completed. Ticket holders should visit http://www.tyreseonline.com for updates on new performance dates.
Tyrese will be available for interview and television appearance in key markets. For further information please contact biff warren at biff.warren@somktg.com or Steve Ripley at soulfoodmusicuk@gmail.com. Open Invitation is available for download on iTunes and Amazon.com
