UBM plc today announces that it has formed a strategic partnership with NTSR, a leading Turkish exhibition company, to create an operations and logistics hub which will provide a local platform for UBM's planned growth in Turkey and across the wider region. With more than 30 years' experience, NTSR is one of the best known and respected events businesses in Turkey.
Bridging Europe and Asia, Turkey has a unique geographic and cultural position, as well as a strong and fast-growing economy and a relatively young but growing media market. Turkey is one of the most exciting "N-11" countries for the events industry with the exhibition market forecast by industry analysts AMR to grow to at annual growth rate of more than 7% to reach more than $350m by 2014.
The partnership combines NTSR's local market knowledge and operations with UBM's global network and brands to enable both parties to build a leading presence in the Turkish market.
