The training courses are part of an ongoing seminar series on the latest QA issues being offered at UL-STR's UK offices.
"An Introduction to Colour Management, Colour Appearance and Assessment" (October 10, 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., cost £50, Nottingham) will help attendees learn how to make accurate visual colour decisions, avoid common colour mistakes, and visually evaluate colour more effectively to communicate needs to suppliers and manufacturing units. Barbara Langston, Softlines Manager at UL-STR and an expert with over 30 years of experience in colour management and application, will lead the session.
"REACh and Chemical Compliance for the EU" (October 10, 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., cost £50, Reading) will provide attendees with an easy to understand overview on REACh legislation, the revised limits, and the scope affecting product compliance in the EU. Dr. Anne Bonhoff, Global Head of Chemistry at UL-STR and an expert on the topics of restricted substances, toxicology, environmental issues, and ecological issues, will lead the session.
