URALSIB announces the appointment of Marat Ibragimov to the position of senior analyst for real estate and infrastructure and Gary Tebbutt as Director of Operations at the URALSIB London office.
Marat Ibragimov has over 11 years of relevant work experience at leading financial companies in Russia including Citi, URALSIB and Otkritie where he served as a senior analyst in equity research mainly targeting food producers, retail, pharmaceuticals and real estate. Marat is a graduate of Moscow State University of Lomonosov, from the faculty of computational mathematics and cybernetics. He also has a masters degree in economics from New Economic School.

Gary Tebbutt joins URALSIB Securities Limited in London from Renaissance Capital where he was the FSA registered Head of Operations for 15 years. At Renaissance Gary's achievements included setting up the back office functionality of the London and Hong Kong offices, supporting the start-up of the AIM market-making business, setting up the back office for RenCap Online's DMA product on the LSE, as well as settling trades in frontier markets such as Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey and South Africa. Gary played an active role in systems implementation projects such as Fidessa and Calypso. In addition, he was also very involved in structuring and processing a number of placements and new issues on various global markets. Prior to Renaissance, Gary was at Banco Santander in London as Head of Operations for 6 years, supporting substantial Distressed Debt, FX, MM and derivatives trading desks. Prior to that, he was at BNP Securities in London and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
