According to the World Bank, Vietnam is one of the world's leading nations in sustainable energy. Whilst the demand for energy is quickly increasing, i.e. from 60,000 MW in 2020 to 29,500MW until 2030, the cost of renewable energy is gradually decreasing. So watch this space, Vietnam is getting ready for large amounts of investments in solar and wind energy projects to keep up with increased energy consumption and meet government goals.
Dr. Do Huu Hao, Chairman of Vietnam Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Association (VECEA) said "In comparison with other traditional energy sources such oil and coal, renewable energy is relatively new in Vietnam and is positioned as sustainable development and low-carbon emission. Hence, the government is aiming for 10.7% of the country's total output, generated from renewable energy, mainly solar and wind energy by 2030."
Supported by Vietnam Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Association (VECEA), Vietnam Automation Association (VAA) and Energy Conservation Center HCMC (ECC-HCM), a vast array of energy equipment, products and solutions in renewable energy and energy efficiency will be showcased at the exhibition.
Apart from the three-day exhibition, participants will also have an opportunity to network and share their experience with the industry professionals at the conference and technical seminars.
Based on a marketer's survey from last year's exhibition, 100% of the total number of exhibitors expressed their satisfaction of joining the last year exhibition.
Ms. Eliane van Doorn, Director of Business Development ASEAN of UBM Asia also confirmed that RE & EE Vietnam 2017 will work in line with Vietnam's energy progress. She said, "We will continue to create a holistic business platform for local enterprises to get access to and learn from the international technologies and innovations in the industries, especially in the solar power segment."
RE & EE Vietnam will again be co-located with Vietnam's Leading International Water Supply, Sanitation, Water Resources and Purification Event -- VIETWATER 2017 gathering 450 top companies from 38 countries, allowing abundant opportunities to network and exchange insights with local and international professionals, key leaders, and decision makers.
To accommodate the growth in electricity consumption a sustainable way, the government is slowly shifting its focus towards renewable energy. Therefore, RE & EE Vietnam invite you to take part in RE & EE Vietnam to seize the opportunities in this booming market segment.
