ViewSonic Introduces World's First 10.1" ACP Pen Display and Multi-Authentication Units at Cebit 2017

- ViewSonic's newest additions to their Pen Display series will be introduced at Cebit 2017

HANNOVER, Germany, March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewSonic's Pen Display Division will be showcasing the world's first 10.1" ACP pen display as well as a new series of ruggedized tablets and multi-authentication units at Cebit held in Hannover, Germany from March 20-24.

The 10.1" ACP pen display, includes touch and pen writing/signing features, two functions that could be used exactly at the same time. Usually, pen displays only include writing/signing features. The pen display is paired with an ACP pen (active capacitive pen) giving users more flexibility in their applications.

A whole new series of ruggedized tablets is the latest line of products targeted at industrial users and mobile businesses applications. 10.1" in size, they include protective features such as reinforced frames, watertight ports, and Gorilla Glass 3 reinforced glass. These tablets will come in semi-ruggedized and fully-ruggedized forms.

Also on display will be the newest 7" and 10" multi-authentication units (MA750 and MA1050, respectively). These MA (multi-authentication) series are the newest addition to the Pen Display Division, which feature eight authentication features all in one device. Features include fingerprint identification, magnetic stripe card reader, smart card reader, RFID for contactless card, camera, password keyboard, speakers/microphone, and signing functions. With the MA series, fingerprint or face capture features along with electronic signatures could be saved with each document to be used for authentication purposes.
