Watson Institute Replaces Citrix with Ericom for Remote Access Management and BYOD

A century-old educational organization serving children and youth with special needs in grades K through 12, Watson is leveraging PowerTerm WebConnect as its IT platform for providing remote, managed access to Windows desktops and applications, and to facilitate its BYOD initiatives.
The majority of Watson's staff often requires secure access on any device to hosted Windows desktops after hours and/or off-site. Watson used Citrix's remote access software, but eventually found the solution too costly and complex to manage. Ultimately they chose to upgrade their access solution to Ericom PowerTerm WebConnect.
