WCG 2013 Grand Final Comes to a Successful End with 155,000 Spectators!!!
KUNSHAN, China, Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The World Cyber Games 2013 Grand Final came to an end with a big success on December 1 in Kunshan, China. This was WCG's 13th Grand Final and again proved to be the world's best eSports festival.

- A New Record of 155,000 On-Site Spectators and 400 Journalists from over 30 Countries
Total of 155,000 spectators visited the WCG 2013 Grand Final to watch the world's top 500 players from 40 countries, and about 400 journalists from over 30 countries including China's major broadcasting station CCTV (China Central Television), Xinhua News and other global top-tier media came over to cover the WCG 2013 Grand Final. In addition, many high officials of Chinese government visited the venue and showed their interests in WCG and eSports.
- The special 'Good Bye WarCraft III' Trophy Goes to TH000(China)
The Final match of the 'WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne® (WIII)' between Moon (Korea) and TH000 (China) at the Stage A was obviously the biggest match among over 2,000 matches during that 4 days where the 12,000 sqm hall was fully packed with spectators. The final winner of WII was TH000 (China), and the special trophy was awarded to TH000 at the WCG 2013 Grand Final.
- Team Korea takes the First Place with 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze Medals
After 4 days of competitive tournament, Team Korea ranked 1st place followed by Team China, and Team Iran, Ukraine and Japan. All of the final matches were held on December 1, and about 53,000 spectators filled the 24,000 sqm halls with their acclamation and cheers. QCES.QQVIP (China) won from 'CROSSFIRE'; FG|TNII (Iran) won from the 'FIFA 14'; CJ Blaze (Korea) won from the 'League of Legends'; Soulkey (Korea) won from the 'StarCraft® II: Heart of the Swarm™'; Fuudo (Japan) won from the 'Super Street Fighter® IV Arcade Edition Ver. 2012'; and Team WUSA (Ukraine) won from the 'World of Tanks'.
The Closing Ceremony was held at the Stage A from 7:00PM. With last 4 days' highlight video being played, Award Ceremony and Grand Champion Announcement were followed, all the players promised for next year's WCG Grand Final.
