WCG 2013 Grand Final Grand Opening in Kunshan, China

SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- World Cyber Games, the world's best eSports festival and tournament, held the Opening Press Conference and spectacular Opening Ceremony for the WCG 2013 Grand Final in Kunshan, China on November 28th.

The Opening Press Conference was held in Kunshan International Convention and Exhibition Center with 200 journalists from 30 countries and the Opening Ceremony was held in the Hall A at the venue, with 500 players from 40 countries, host city governments, sponsors, publishers and spectators.
At the WCG 2013 Grand Final Opening Ceremony, the representatives of each country showed at the main stage with their flag-waving performance. After a torch relayed from Misaya (Yu Jingxi, China) of Team WE (League of Legend) to Mr. Zhang Yulin, the Member of the Standing Committee of Kunshan City, the WCG 2013 Grand Final, which is attended by 500 players from 40 countries, was officially kicked off. Players will be competing in over 2,000 matches in the next 4 days in 9 world's renowned game titles.
After the official Opening Ceremony, Moon (Jang, Jaeho, Korea) and TH000 (Huang Xiang, China) of 'Warcraft® III: The Frozen Throne® (WIII)' had an opening match. Since this is the final year of 'WIII' as an official game title of WCG, there is much attention paid towards the birth of the final champion of 'WIII.'
Although it is a weekday, numbers of spectators visited the WCG Grand Final to watch the striking matches and to visit the promotional booths of Samsung Electronics, NVIDIA, i-rocks, Blizzard Entertainment, SMILEGATE, Wargaming and Tencent where they showcased their products and featured special matches and game experience zones.
