Willie Mullins Pair Head Grand National Market With Betfred After 84 Entries Revealed

MANCHESTER, England, January 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

The Willie Mullins-trained duo On His Own and Prince De Beauchene feature among 84 entries for this year's John Smith's Grand National and head the market at 16/1 with Aintree's official betting partner, Betfred.
Last year's third place finisher, Seabass, is one of six horses priced at 20/1, including Betfred Becher Chase runner-up Join Together and the rapidly improving Katenko.
Willie Mullins has entered seven horses this year and is a 4/1 shot with Betfred to train his second winner of the race. There are 32 Irish-trained horses entered in total and it's 9/4 one of them can do the business for the first time since Silver Birch in 2007.
"This year's Grand National entry is up slightly on last year and it looks another high-quality renewal," said Betfred spokesman Andrew Griffiths.
