Winning Advert From reed.co.uk Competition Revealed in Major TV Campaign

Leading jobs board, reed.co.uk, launched a major multi-channel advertising campaign during Sunday night's Dancing on Ice, as it revealed the winner of its 'Who's hired? You decide' competition.
The winning ad, called 'Super Reed' and featuring a job-wielding superhero, was chosen by the public via an online vote. It beat five other shortlisted commercials after reed.co.uk invited 20 up-and-coming film directors to create a 30 second ad, based on the company's established 'Love Mondays' campaign message.
Voting took place from mid-December and was supported by a heavyweight digital push, including pre-roll video, social targeting and promotion across film and entertainment destinations. An extensive social media presence encouraged visitors to get behind their favourite ads and engage with the filmmakers on Facebook and Twitter. The public voting campaign captured substantial public support from the start, including votes from more than 100 countries and registered candidates seeking jobs in Kent, London jobs, Yorkshire and all across the UK.
'Super Reed' was made by director, Jonathan Brooks, and producer, Mat Laroche, alongside ex-Edinburgh fringe comedy trio, 'The Wogans'. Maths teacher, Adam Gutteridge, plays the superhero in the ad, which will play across all major terrestrial and satellite channels nationwide, including ITV1, Channel 4, Five, Sky and Freeview channels.
The winning team will receive a £10,000 cash prize and have the opportunity to work on future reed.co.uk projects with celebrated commercials and film director, Paul Weiland, whose team was behind the original 'Love Mondays' radio and outdoor campaign.
