Worldhotels Targets Further Growth with New Key Appointment

Sven Doliwa appointed Vice President Sales & Business Development for Europe, Middle East and Africa
Worldhotels, a leading global group for independent upscale hotels, seeks to further expand its portfolio and maximise business for existing hotels by appointing Sven Doliwa as its new Vice President Sales & Business Development for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Doliwa will be based in the Worldhotels Head Office in Frankfurt, Germany, and will report to Paulo Salvador, the group's Executive Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa and Global Head of Marketing and Sales, who states, "I am very glad, Sven has taken on the ambitious task to both help us expand our existing portfolio of almost 500 hotels in 250 destinations worldwide, as well as to evolve new business opportunities for our existing hotels in EMEA".
Sven Doliwa has a proven track record in Sales, Marketing, Distribution and Business Development having worked in senior positions for international hotel companies such as Kempinski and Hilton. Most recently before joining Worldhotels, Doliwa was Vice President Commercial at Grand City Hotels in Germany, where he was responsible for Sales, Revenue Management and PR.
In his new position, Doliwa will overlook and drive Worldhotels' sales efforts in EMEA building on the groups' strong network of more than 30 sales offices worldwide. In addition to that, he will lead the company's Hotel Development department, aiming to complement the Worldhotels portfolio with unique hotels in new destinations.
