Italian Court Forbids the Police and the Minister of Internal Affairs to Link Francesco Corallo to the Mafia
ROME, February 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Following the issue of judgment #50 250 RG, the Italian Court forbids the Minister of Internal Affairs and the DIA (FBI equivalent) to link Corallo to the mafia.
Furthermore, the Italian Court has ordered the publication of this ruling in the main Italian newspaper La Repubblica and the deletion of any relevant reference that the DIA Police may have in their reports on this matter.
Corallo's lawyers stated that this de facto prohibits anybody to refer to Corallo as "a subject close to, or part of, the Mafia".
This may give start to several lawsuits towards a number of subjects who linked Corallo to the mafia in the past.
