LONDON, July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
- New ad Campaign Launches Today
THE SUN has launched a brand new TV advertising campaign for its award winning online bingo site, Sun Bingo.
The ad features a new charismatic, larger-than-life, character called Bubbles, who spreads her joy around her in the form of bingo balls.
Bubbles will appear across all of Sun Bingo's marketing activity for the site for the next 12 months along with a new catchy jingle.
The first ad in the series is on air now and promotes the brilliant 200% offer, where players get £30 to play with by depositing only £10. Other creative executions will be rolled out throughout the year.
Sun Bingo won the coveted accolade of WhichBingo.co.uk Site of the Year for 2010, independently voted for by the site's users. The site described Sun Bingo as "the number one stop for bingo players everywhere."
Richard Gale, Brand Director for The Sun, said: "The Bingo market is fiercely competitive and we have a product that stands out from the crowd with great games, chat rooms, and amazing prizes. This is an ad campaign to match.
"It is the first time we've had a year-long creative look and feel for our Sun Bingo advertising and it really brings the site to life. I am confident it will be a powerful tool for us in attracting and retaining players across the year.
"And I can guarantee, you won't be able to get the jingle out of your head."
The ad was created by Partners Andrews Aldridge, part of the Engine Group, with media buying by Mindshare.
