Wrappler Wishes Everyone a 'Grand' Christmas With its £1000 Worth of Gifts and Matching Cash Donation to Text Santa
NOTTINGHAM, England, November 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
This year Wrappler, the social media gift registry site, has decided to spread even more Christmas cheer by awarding the writer of the most inspired gift list £1000 worth of their chosen gifts and exact same amount in cash to the Text Santa Appeal. People all over the world have long been writing gift lists to Santa and as Wrappler is the grown up version of the Santa letter it seems appropriate to donate to Text Santa.
Wrappler.com, market leaders and innovators in online gift listing, want you to let your imagination run wild by registering on http://www.wrappler.com, creating your own dream gift list then sharing it on Wrappler's Facebook page, between 28th November and 15th December 2014, to be in with a chance of winning. It must be a public Wrappler list, include the words "#wrapagrand" in the title, contain at least 5 items and not exceed £1000. The winner will be announced on the 16th December and then the matching donation will go to the wonderful Text Santa Appeal.
Your list could contain gadget gifts for you or a loved one and the more creative, entertaining or funny your list, the better. Grown-ups are just big kids at heart and the latest technological gadget merely a toy by any other name. But Christmas wouldn't be Christmas if we didn't have a user manual to ignore while we try to work out the latest new smartphone, gaming or media device while cursing vociferously. To help you along the way we've provided Wrappler's top ten Christmas gift list. So whether your list is pure indulgence for you or for friends and family, register on http://www.wrappler.com for your chance to win the humbug-busting £1000 and help others too.
Wrappler's top ten great Christmas gifts guide for 2014
1. FIRE!
Don't worry, Mum's not left the giblets in the turkey again and filled the house with smoke - we're talking Amazon Fire (£329) here. Surfing, reading, streaming and just perfect for sales shopping from the comfort of your own chair - is there nothing this hot little number can't do? Besides remove giblets from a turkey.
2. You Can Work It Out
Not only will this TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio GPS Watch (around £200) help you see how effective your work out is by measuring speed, distance, elevation, etc, but it will also tell you when to stop before you expire. The watch measures heart rate without the need for a chest strap, (something to attach the defibrillators to, we wonder) so good luck working off the extra Christmas pounds.
3. Mother - fitness tracker, stats keeper, security system & life coach all rolled into one
For those of a certain age this does resemble a Barbapappa, but worry if it actually looks like your mother. However, this device (£311.79) really does know best and has that almost uncanny knack of knowing just what you need before you do. Just don't ask it to spit on a hanky and clean your face - it has no arms.... Or hankies.
4. Wakey Wakey
We bet that George Clooney will be buying old pals Brangelina an Nespresso coffee maker this Crimbo to help with jetlag as they flit between Sydney's red carpet events, filming in Malta, their chateaux in France and of course Hollywood. Or maybe he's a tightwad and will only get them the orange flip-flops from the ad.... One each
5. HAPPY Christmas, Pharrell
Now, if anyone deserves a very merry Noel, it's Pharrell Williams after making us all so happy we danced about madly whenever we heard his joyful ditty. His take on the Adidas originals come in a range of cheerful, even exuberant colours and will liven up the dullest winter day.
6. The Christmas Star is Glowing Bright
We at Wrappler think this Glow perfume from that all-round star, J-Lo, (£14.95) is perfect for Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose. It's bootlilicious... Not to be confused with bootiful, that was another Christmas thing entirely and no one wants to smell like that.
7. The Teksta T-Rex
OK, we'll keep this one short and sweet. Burping interactive dinosaurs - what's not to like?
8. Selfie versus Falsie
Thankfully this smart watch from Kidizoom can't run up huge phone bills, but with analogue, digital and stopwatch, gaming options and camera, video and editing capabilities the kids will be in selfie heaven and Grandpa immortalised forever, snoring, falsie's on show in the armchair. Prices range from £29 - £168 so it's a gift to suit all pockets.
9. Project Bedtime Story
Bring your children's literary heroes to life... No, not JK Rowling or CS Lewis, but Willy Wonka, Sponge Bob Square Pants and the Gruffalo, all in glorious Technicolor. Simply plug this Easygo® projector into your smart phone (£55.99), download your child's favourite illustrated book and make bedtime stories come to life... Life size that is.
10. Time for Bling
Shiny things on trees, Christmas lights everywhere - it's that bling time of year and this Gucci Men's YA126401 "G-Timeless" Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch (£685) is perfect for a little glitter. A little bling on one arm and beautiful woman on the other has surely got to be on every gent about town's Christmas list.
